Organic

When you approach us with your concerns and your visions, we need to organically structure a system that is best for you.

Typically, we have an internal meeting to discuss how to implement your ideas and assess the best way to meet your goals.

From there we draw up a Statement Of Work, which will be ultimately approved by you.

After that, the process happens organically based upon the nature of your needs.

Directed

The one hard and fast rule we keep to is having a clearly laid out goal. That goal may change based on new ideas or directions that you want to go into, but we never want to move aimlessly.

We always want to keep in mind an ultimate goal, so that no matter what direction we're heading in, we're always heading somewhere.

Fluid

1. "We don’t have the capabilities to do that."
2. "What you’re asking for is jumping ahead of what we said we were going to do next."
3. "You already told us that you wanted it this way. So, tough."

These are three statements you will never hear anyone say at Its-Your-Internet.

The process must be kept fluid enough so that you feel that you can test and experiment before solidifying anything.

Iterative

No waterfall method.

Your time, money, and ideas are valuable. Tossing them into an assembly line and cranking out a product that you’re stuck with is a terrible way to do business

What we do instead is to have a circular system of testing and modifying, until you are completely satisfied with what you’re getting.

Collaborative

Extreme Programming

Internally, we work like honey bees, not an ant farm.

Unlike ants that move in a formation and follow one queen; we work together to make group discussions by consulting each other.

We are always bouncing ideas off each other and reviewing each other’s work. Two heads may be better than one, but ten heads are even better.

All the while, we make sure not to get locked into the ant farm system of employing many workers to do small jobs. Every employee has experience in every aspect of the company. Collaboration takes on a whole new model when everyone is working together and has an idea of what the final product will look like.
