How social networking benefits your business when done right.

Have you ever landed a million dollar deal…through Linkedin? Have you ever started a Facebook-based internet campaign that attracted a whole new demographic to your company? Have you ever created a blogosphere that increased your website’s traffic by 48%?

If you haven’t…you’re not doing social networking right.

Facebook isn’t just for college kids any more. More people are finding work on Linkedin than ever before. Business potential through social networks is HUGE…but only if done right.

For instance, if your company starts a twitter account…

  • You need to know how often to post an update – daily, at least.
  • You need to get a massive amount of followers – by following the right people.
  • You MUST know what to write about – pithy, current, and appropriate information.

We have the tools and the know-how to take your business into the 21st century.

Wouldn’t you LOVE to have an internet campaign like Pepsi’s “1000’s of ideas”?

Or a Linkedin page that had potential clients flooding your inbox with requests?

There’s a saying we use around the office – you wanna catch a big fish, cast a big net. Make your business’s online presence go BEYOND a website. Integrating blogs and social networks are the way successful companies are doing business online. Don’t believe me? Go to Pepsi’s Facebook page. Examine the way Pepsi uses Facebook to attract people to their product. Did you notice that they have over 5 million “likes”? Then, go to JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s twitter account. Look at the way they tweet important relevant information. The tone is compelling, yet professional – a carefully thought-out decision to perserve your company’s persona online.

Have you seen Google’s Linkedin page? They expanded the functionality of their page to include news, recent hires, and post what positions need to be filled.

After examining these major companies, go to your competitors’ social media pages and see what they are doing. Copy the URL of pages you see in which you admire what your competitor is doing, and make a separate list in which you do not think they are utilizing social media as much as they could.

This list will help us get a better idea of how social media should be done for YOUR business.

Present us this list when we meet.
